FAQs

Founding Membership Details

  • What is a Founding Membership?

A limited opportunity to join Cocoon before we open—at our lowest rate. Founding members help shape the studio's early community and are first to experience what we've built.

  • What are the Founding Member benefits?

     Founding members receive:

    • Unlimited access to Restore, Ember, and Ignite
    • 48-hour priority booking window
    • One late cancellation waived per month
    • Quarterly guest passes
    • 10% off Deep Room sessions
    • 10% off selected retail
    • One annual pause of up to 30 days
    • Renewal rates held below future general membership pricing
  • What is the 48-hour booking window?

Founding members can reserve classes up to 48 hours in advance.

This gives founding members priority access before standard booking windows open.

  • What pathways are included?

All memberships include unlimited access to Restore, Ember, and Ignite. Move between them as often as you like—your body will guide you.

  • When does Cocoon open?

We're planning a soft opening in mid September 2026. Founding members receive advance notice and updates as we get closer.

  • What if I miss a class?

Your monthly late cancellation waiver covers you when life interrupts. Once used, standard cancellation terms apply for the remainder of that month.

  • Can I share my membership?

Memberships are non-transferable. Your quarterly guest passes are designed for exactly this—bring someone in and let them feel it for themselves.

  • When will I be charged?

Your first month is charged at sign-up to secure your founding rate. That payment is applied to your first active month once Cocoon opens.

  • When does my membership officially begin?

Your Membership Agreement begins on the date of sign-up. Your active studio membership begins when Cocoon opens and classes commence.

FAQ

Membership Policies

  • Can I cancel after purchasing?

You have a 10-day cancellation period from the date your Membership Agreement is delivered, as required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

  • What if I need to cancel before Cocoon opens?

Outside of your statutory cancellation rights, founding membership payments are non-refundable. In certain circumstances, and at Cocoon's discretion, payments may be converted to studio credit valid for one year from our opening date. Full details are in your Membership Agreement.

  • What happens after my first year?

Your founding rate is protected for your initial 12-month term.

Following that term, founding members will continue to receive renewal pricing below future general membership rates.

  • Can I pause my membership?

Yes. Founding members may pause once annually for up to 30 days. Pause requests must be submitted in writing with your requested start date, at least 3 days in advance.

  • Can I cancel my membership?

Founding Membership is a 12-month commitment.

If your circumstances change, you may request cancellation at any time by emailing cocoonmovementstudio@gmail.com.

During the initial 12-month commitment, any cancellation will be subject to the terms of your Membership Agreement and applicable consumer protection legislation.

After the first 6 months, you may cancel with 30 days' written notice. Your membership will remain active during the notice period, and one final billing cycle will apply.

After the initial 12-month term, your membership will continue month-to-month at a Founding Member renewal rate. While renewal pricing may differ from your initial founding rate, Founding Members will continue to receive preferred pricing below public membership rates. Renewal pricing will be communicated before renewal. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice.

  • What is the class cancellation policy?

Classes must be cancelled at least 10 hours before the scheduled start time through your Cocoon account.

Cancellations made within the 10-hour window incur a $18 late cancellation fee. Failure to cancel or attend without notice is considered a no-show and incurs a $35 fee.

Founding Members receive one late cancellation waiver per calendar month. Your waiver is applied automatically before any fee is charged.

  • What is the late arrival policy?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your class. Once class has begun, entry is not permitted — out of respect for everyone already in the room.

If you arrive after doors close, your reservation will be released and the late cancellation policy applies.

FAQ

About the studio

  • Is the studio heated?

    Yes.

Cocoon uses infrared heat—but each pathway uses it differently. Restore, Ember, and Ignite are calibrated for their purpose: recovery, strength, and conditioning. The warmth supports the work; it doesn't perform.

  • Is Cocoon suitable for beginners?

    Yes.

Each class offers options across experience levels. Whether you're returning to movement or starting something new, there's a pathway for you.

If you live with chronic pain, injury, or a medical condition, we recommend consulting your physician before beginning.

  • What is the Deep Room?

The Deep Room is Cocoon's private red light therapy space featuring professional-grade red and near-infrared light therapy.

Founding members receive 10% off individual sessions and may choose membership bundles that include Deep Room session packs.

  • Do Deep Room session packs expire?

Session packs included in Founding Membership bundles are valid for 15 months from  purchase date.

  • What should I bring?

Comfortable movement clothing , mat towel, face towel and a water bottle. Towels will be available to rent if you forget yours.

A complete studio guide—including what to wear, what to expect, and how to arrive—will be shared before we open.

  • What is the phone and device policy?

Phones and smart watches must be on silent before you enter the studio. The room is a space to arrive fully — we ask that you leave devices in your locker or bag for the duration of class.
